iPhone 17 and 17 Air to Get 120Hz Display but No ProMotion, New Colors Incoming

A recent report reveals that Apple is testing two new colors for the standard iPhone 17: Purple and Green.

However, only one of these colors is expected to be released, with Purple reportedly leading as the likely choice.

For the iPhone 17 Pro, Apple is also considering a fresh Sky Blue option to update its color lineup.

Beyond colors, a major upgrade coming to the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air (which might replace the Plus model) is the introduction of 120Hz displays.

However, these models will not support ProMotion, a feature that will stay exclusive to the Pro versions.

Apple fans can expect a mix of new colors and display improvements when the iPhone 17 series launches.
