The BTS fandom, known as ARMY, has been busy celebrating and supporting BTS as the group prepares for their reunion in mid-2025. This reunion follows the completion of the members’ mandatory military service, marking the end of a nearly three-year break.
One of the major events was BTS FESTA 2025, held from June 1 to 14. This annual celebration marks BTS’s debut anniversary and this year’s theme, “Twelve O’Clock,” symbolized a new beginning. Fans around the world joined in online and offline activities.
Over 60,000 fans attended the in-person event at KINTEX in Goyang, South Korea. The event featured special zones such as the ARMY BOMB PHOTO SPOT and the TROPHY ZONE displaying BTS’s awards. Fans also enjoyed new videos, photos, and skits from the members.
The BTS members finished their military service at different times in June 2025. RM and V were discharged on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, and Suga on June 21. Jin and J-Hope returned in 2024. Fans have shown strong support while respecting the group’s wishes for privacy around military facilities.
During the break, the members focused on solo projects, while the company HYBE worked with top producers to plan BTS’s comeback. ARMY eagerly awaits the group’s return, expected later in 2025, with a world tour planned for 2026.
Throughout this period, ARMY stayed active by creating fan art, reaction videos, and sharing memories. The BTS FESTA skit “BTS News 2025” starring Jin and J-Hope became a fan favorite for its humor and nostalgia.
Overall, ARMY’s dedication and celebration have kept the BTS spirit alive and strong. The upcoming reunion promises to be a historic moment for the group and their fans, marking a fresh start as symbolized by the “Twelve O’Clock” theme.
