Kanye West, also known as Ye, is in New York City and may attend the criminal trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. A source close to Combs said West has been in contact with Combs’ family, especially his son Christian “King” Combs, about attending the trial to support them.

West did not attend the recent court session but could appear when the defense begins presenting their case. Prosecutors are expected to finish soon, and then the defense will start calling witnesses.

Sean “Diddy” Combs faces serious criminal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He denies all the accusations and has pleaded not guilty. Many civil lawsuits also accuse him of sexual misconduct.

West has publicly supported Combs during the trial and has released music with Combs and his son. Despite West’s recent controversies, including antisemitic comments and backlash, he remains one of the few public figures backing Combs.

A representative for Combs and his son declined to comment. West currently has no known public relations representative.
