A new leak reveals the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) will debut at $799 in the U.S., marking a big step up in both price and ambition for the brand.
According to trusted source @MysteryLupin, the base model will feature 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while a higher-end version with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is expected to retail for $899.
This is a significant increase over last year’s Nothing Phone (2), which launched at just $599. But CEO Carl Pei had already hinted that the Phone (3) would be a “true flagship”, suggesting major upgrades in specs and design.
Rumors point to the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a move that would justify the premium pricing. If true, the Phone (3) would be one of the most affordable phones using that chip, beating out rivals like the OnePlus 13.
In addition to the new smartphone, Nothing is preparing to launch its first over-ear headphones, dubbed Nothing Headphone (1). The same leaker claims these will arrive in late September with a $299 price tag. That would place them well below competitors like Sony’s WH-1000XM6 or Apple’s AirPods Max, while still targeting the premium audio market.
While we don’t yet have details on the headphones’ features or design, Nothing’s strong track record with the Ear (1), Ear (2), and Ear (a) earbuds suggests high expectations for sound quality and unique aesthetics.
Nothing has confirmed a July launch for Phone (3), with more details likely coming soon.
