Kanye West Turns Controversial “Heil Hitler” Song Into “Hallelujah”

Kanye West has re-released his controversial song “Heil Hitler” under a new name — “Hallelujah” — marking a surprising turn in tone and message.

The new version keeps the same beat and themes but replaces the offensive phrase with a more spiritual one. The track talks about child support, being banned by banks, and free speech. West calls himself a misunderstood villain and opens up about his personal pain.

The change comes just weeks after West said he was “done with antisemitism” and asked for forgiveness. He said a FaceTime call with his children helped him reflect and seek peace.

Still, some critics remain skeptical. The rapper’s apology followed closely after selling swastika-themed merchandise and releasing the original “Heil Hitler” song, causing backlash from the Anti-Defamation League and others.

Despite controversy, West’s fans continue to support him. His Yeezy brand remains popular, and his music keeps drawing attention. Many fans on social media praised the new “Hallelujah” track, calling it a step toward redemption.

Kanye first vowed to make only gospel music in 2019, releasing Jesus Is King and performing with the Sunday Service Choir. He returned to rap in 2021 with Donda, a tribute to his late mother.

With three new albums in the works — WW3, Cuck, and Bully — Kanye West’s next moves will be closely watched. Whether “Hallelujah” is a genuine shift or just rebranding, the world is paying attention.
