Apple plans to introduce a new gaming app across its devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. This app will replace the current Game Center and create a central hub for all gaming activity.

The app is expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2025 on June 9 and will launch with iOS 19 in September 2025.

It aims to offer a single place to launch all your games, view centralized achievements and leaderboards, and feature Apple-curated content with new game highlights and recommendations.

The app will also include social features to connect with friends and will seamlessly integrate Apple Arcade. On Mac, it will support games downloaded outside the App Store, marking a major change for Apple.

This move shows Apple’s serious push into gaming. It follows the recent acquisition of game studio RAC7 and comes just days before Nintendo’s expected launch of the Switch 2 console.

Apple wants to offer a unified, console-like experience across its ecosystem.
