Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant, Capricorn Clark, testified in court on Tuesday, saying Combs once tried to kill rapper Kid Cudi. This testimony was part of the third week of Combs’ federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering.
Clark told the court that in December 2011, Combs showed up at her home with a gun. She said he told her, “Get dressed, we’re going to go kill Kid Cudi.” Clark said Combs was angry after learning Kid Cudi was dating Cassie Ventura, his former girlfriend.
Clark said Combs drove her to Kid Cudi’s house and went inside alone. She stayed in the car and called Ventura to warn her. Clark said she told Ventura the relationship with Kid Cudi could “get us all killed.” She also advised Ventura to buy a burner phone for safety.
Kid Cudi had already testified last week that Combs broke into his house in 2011. He said his car was set on fire weeks later, and he believes Combs was behind the attack. He also supported Ventura’s claims that Combs abused her.

Clark also testified about her own experience working for Combs. She said he once pushed her and yelled, “If you hate it here, get the f— out of my house.” She also said he falsely accused her of stealing jewelry and forced her to take a lie detector test.
Clark added that Combs asked her to get illegal drugs and prescription pills for him. She claimed he also withheld $80,000 in overtime pay, and that working for him caused her to develop stress-related hair loss.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all five federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He also faces many civil lawsuits but denies all wrongdoing.
