Kanye West has shared his disappointment after Kid Cudi testified against Diddy in an ongoing federal trial. The rapper posted his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter) on May 24 but deleted the message shortly after.
“I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff,” Kanye wrote, referring to Diddy. “We need not to be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family. Praying for Puff Daddy and the Family.”
This comment comes after Kid Cudi took the stand on May 22. Cudi reportedly spoke about his past with Cassie Ventura, revealing serious claims involving car fires, break-ins, and other incidents tied to his connection with Diddy.
While Kanye continues to back Diddy publicly, his relationship with Kid Cudi remains unclear. The two were once close collaborators on projects like KIDS SEE GHOSTS, but they’ve had several public fallouts in recent years.
There is no confirmation that Kanye will testify in Diddy’s trial, despite online rumors. So far, he remains a vocal supporter from the sidelines.
