Nothing is finally preparing to enter the flagship smartphone game with the upcoming Nothing Phone 3, and a fresh leak suggests it’s shaping up to be the brand’s most powerful device yet.
CEO Carl Pei has already confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 will launch in Q3 2025, with a price tag of around $1,000 and a U.S. debut. But now, new leaks give us our first real look at what to expect.
The Phone 3 is reportedly codenamed “Metroid” with the model number A024, as spotted in GSM and BIS certification databases. According to Smartprix, the device will feature a flagship Snapdragon chipset, likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite, thanks to Nothing’s close partnership with Qualcomm.
Sources also suggest the phone will include a triple camera setup with a large primary sensor and an improved periscope zoom lens—both upgrades over the mid-range Nothing Phone 3a Pro. Powering the device could be a massive battery, potentially bigger than the 5,000mAh cell found in earlier models.
Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15 is expected out of the box, even though Android 16 will likely be released around the same time.
The official launch is expected by July 2025, with a potential curveball in pricing. While the U.S. version may cost around $1,000, the Phone 3 could be priced under $650 in India, making it a strong contender in the value flagship space.
If these leaks hold true, the Nothing Phone 3 might just be Nothing’s first real flagship—and it could shake up the market in a big way.
