NVIDIA is rumored to release new graphics cards in 2025 to compete with AMD’s upcoming RDNA 4 lineup.

The cards are called the RTX 5080 SUPER and RTX 5070 SUPER. The 5080 SUPER may come with 24GB of GDDR7 memory, while the 5070 SUPER may offer 18GB.

Sources say NVIDIA’s partners have been testing these cards in labs since 2024. NVIDIA reportedly waited for high-capacity GDDR7 memory to become more affordable before greenlighting the launch.

If the launch happens, these SUPER cards are expected to be 7–15% faster than the non-SUPER versions. Pricing is not confirmed yet but could stay the same or be slightly higher.

NVIDIA may announce these cards around Computex 2025, which begins in two weeks. The new SUPER models show that NVIDIA is taking AMD’s RDNA 4 threat seriously and plans to stay ahead in the GPU race.
