Xbox Game Pass Closes April With GTA 5, Far Cry 4, COD — and a Must-Play New RPG

Xbox Game Pass is ending April 2025 with a strong lineup. Grand Theft Auto 5 is back on the service, and a brand-new game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, is joining soon.

Clair Obscur is a turn-based RPG from French developer Sandfall Interactive. It mixes fantasy elements with a Belle Époque-inspired world.

It’s one of the few RPGs of its kind not made in Japan and has drawn comparisons to Persona 5 in gameplay and Lies of P in style. The game launches on Game Pass on April 24.

Here’s what subscribers can look forward to this month:

  • GTA 5 – April 15
  • Neon White – April 16
  • SpongeBob: The Patrick Star Game – April 16
  • Crime Scene Cleaner – April 17
  • Tempopo – April 17
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – April 24
  • Towerborne (Game Preview) – April 29
  • Far Cry 4 – April 30
  • Anno 1800 – May 1
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – May 1
  • Dredge – May 6

Several titles will leave Game Pass on April 30, including Thirsty Suitors, Sniper Elite 5, and Have a Nice Death.

With the return of popular hits and the debut of exciting new games, Xbox Game Pass continues to give players strong reasons to stay subscribed.
