Playboi Carti continues to build on the success of his latest album, “MUSIC,” by releasing an updated version with two new bonus tracks.
The revised album, called “MUSIC” V2, is now available on his personal website, but fans won’t find these songs on major streaming platforms just yet.
The new tracks include “2024“ and “BACKR00MS,” both of which had been teased before the album’s official release. “2024” was originally recorded in December 2023 and quickly became a fan favorite on YouTube before being taken down. The song features production from Kanye West and Earl on the Beat.
Meanwhile, “BACKR00MS” is a collaboration with Travis Scott, marking the fourth time the two artists have worked together. The song was first released on January 1, 2024, and was expected to be on the original “MUSIC” tracklist. Cardo Got Wings handled the production for this track.
For now, these two songs remain exclusive to Carti’s website, and there’s no confirmation on whether they will be added to streaming platforms. However, fans who stream the album on Spotify will notice that some tracks have been updated with new mixes.
Beyond “MUSIC” V2, Carti has already started teasing his next album, “BABY BOI.” The rapper recently hinted at its release, thanking fans for their support and confirming that the project is on the way.
With “MUSIC” still making waves, it looks like Playboi Carti has no plans to slow down.
