Xiaomi has officially launched the Buds 5 Pro and Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi at the MWC 2025 event.
Both earbuds deliver premium audio performance with Harman tuning and Qualcomm aptX Lossless support, offering a high-quality wireless listening experience.
Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Features
The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro comes equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers, a PZT tweeter, and a planar driver. These components ensure deep bass, balanced mids, and crisp highs for an immersive audio experience. The earbuds support Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs.
With 55dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), the earbuds effectively block out background noise in various environments. They also offer real-time translation and transcription features, enhancing their functionality.
The Buds 5 Pro provides up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge, with up to 40 hours when combined with the charging case. Dual-device connectivity allows seamless switching between two devices.
Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi
The standout feature of the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi is its support for Wi-Fi audio transmission. It delivers lossless audio at 96kHz/24bit with a transmission rate of up to 4.2 Mbps, thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite and XPAN. This feature offers superior audio quality compared to traditional Bluetooth connections.
However, Wi-Fi audio is only compatible with select smartphones, with the list of supported devices to be announced soon. Apart from this unique feature, the Wi-Fi model shares the same design and specifications as the regular Buds 5 Pro.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro is priced at EUR 200, while the Buds 5 Pro Wi-Fi costs EUR 230. The Buds 5 Pro comes in Ceramic White and Titan Grey, while the Wi-Fi model is available in a single Translucent Black colorway.
With advanced audio features and high-fidelity sound, Xiaomi’s latest earbuds set a new benchmark in wireless audio technology.
