Oppo is preparing to launch its Find X8 Ultra next month, alongside a new compact flagship, the Find X8 Next.
This follows the recent debut of the Find N5 foldable, marking another major release for the company.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra: A Camera-Focused Flagship
Oppo’s Director of Flagship Product, Zhou Yibao, has hinted that the Find X8 Ultra will be a game-changer in smartphone photography.
Nicknamed “Night God”, the device is designed to excel in low-light photography. It features a new lens with an enlarged aperture to capture more light and deliver improved color accuracy.
Additionally, the phone will include an advanced ISP (Image Signal Processor) to enhance nighttime photo processing.
Live images of the Find X8 Ultra have surfaced, showing a redesigned camera module. While opinions on the design may vary, Oppo seems focused on pushing camera technology forward.
Oppo Find X8 Next: A Compact Powerhouse
The Find X8 Next was initially rumored to be a “Mini” variant, but Oppo has chosen a new branding approach.
This device is set to compete with the Galaxy S25 Edge, iPhone 17 Air, and vivo X200 Mini. It is expected to feature:
- Dimensity 9400 chipset
- 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display
- 50 MP primary camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor and OIS
With its slimmer form factor and flagship specs, the Find X8 Next could be a strong contender in the premium compact phone segment.
