Music fans attending the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025 are in for a treat this October, with G-Dragon and Elton John announced as the first wave of performers.
The two music superstars will headline the event, with G-Dragon performing on October 3 and Elton John closing out the weekend on October 5.
G-Dragon, the leader of South Korean boy band BigBang, is set to perform at the Padang Stage in Zone 4. This will mark his return to the Singapore stage after his last full-scale concert in 2017.
The 36-year-old rapper and producer is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, Ubermensch, on February 25.
Meanwhile, Elton John, one of the world’s most iconic musicians, will perform on October 5 after the race, at the same venue. John, known for timeless hits like “Tiny Dancer” and “Your Song,” has sold over 300 million records globally. His last concert in Singapore was in 2015.
Organizers have teased that more acts will be revealed in the coming months, with Adam Firth, executive director of Singapore GP Pte Ltd, expressing excitement over the event’s entertainment line-up.
He added, “These superstars will be performing at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, and we look forward to announcing more acts to complete the weekend’s entertainment.”
The 2025 Singapore F1 Grand Prix will run from October 3 to 5, and tickets are now on sale, with single-day tickets starting at S$148.
