A brand-new medieval RPG has landed on Steam, drawing comparisons to Skyrim, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and Valheim.
Titled Nested Lands, this PvE survival RPG features deep village-building mechanics, large-scale social management, and intense combat.
Developed by 1M Bits Horde and published by META Publishing, the game is shaping up to be one of their most ambitious projects yet.
META Publishing has worked on well-received titles like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and Spirit of the Island, suggesting a promising future for this medieval adventure.
While there isn’t a set release date yet, a free Alpha test is now live on Steam, giving players six to eight hours of gameplay, including key mechanics and questlines. If you want to try it, head to the Nested Lands Steam page and request access to the Alpha before it’s too late.
Early impressions from testers seem positive, though a complete overview of player feedback isn’t available just yet. However, with its blend of survival, strategy, and RPG elements, Nested Lands could be a hidden gem for fans of medieval world-building and hardcore gameplay.
With the game confirmed to launch on multiple platforms, this could be one of 2025’s most exciting RPG releases.
