iPhone 16e: Key Upgrades

  • Bigger and Better Display: The iPhone 16e upgrades from the 4.7-inch LCD in the iPhone SE (3rd Gen) to a 6.1-inch OLED panel with richer colors and deeper blacks.
  • Faster Performance: Powered by the A18 processor, the same chip used in the iPhone 16 series, making it much faster than the SE (3rd Gen).
  • More Memory and Storage: The iPhone 16e has 8GB of RAM, up from the SE’s 3GB, ensuring better multitasking and Apple Intelligence support. Base storage now starts at 128GB, eliminating the outdated 64GB option.
  • Improved Cameras: A 48MP main camera replaces the older 12MP sensor, offering sharper images and better low-light performance.
  • Modern Design: The home button is gone, replaced by Face ID housed in a notch. It retains the glass and metal build with IP68 water resistance.
  • USB-C Port: Apple has switched from Lightning to USB Type-C, making the iPhone 16e compliant with new EU regulations.
