Netflix has confirmed that its highly anticipated UK limited series, Adolescence, will launch on March 13th, 2025.
The series, created by Philip Barantini and Jack Thorne, is set to captivate audiences with a real-time narrative filmed in continuous shots.
Adolescence follows the shocking story of 13-year-old Jamie Miller (played by Owen Cooper) who is arrested for the murder of a classmate.
The series delves into the investigation and the impact on Jamie’s family, including his father, Eddie Miller, portrayed by Stephen Graham.
Joining Graham is Ashley Walters as Detective Inspector Bascombe, and Erin Doherty as Briony Ariston, a criminal psychologist investigating Jamie. Other notable cast members include Faye Marsay, Mark Stanley, and Jo Hartley.
Filming took place across Yorkshire, including locations such as Minsthorpe High School and Pontefract, starting in the summer of 2024.
Produced by Warp Films, Plan B Entertainment, and Matriarch Productions, the series boasts Brad Pitt as an executive producer alongside Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne.
Adolescence is set to offer a unique, gripping experience when it premieres in March 2025.
