Netflix has announced that The Woman in Cabin 10, based on Ruth Ware’s best-selling novel, will premiere in fall 2025.
The first-look image, featuring Keira Knightley and Guy Pearce, was revealed at Netflix’s Next on Netflix event.
The story follows a journalist on a luxury cruise for a travel assignment. One night, she sees a passenger being thrown overboard.
But when she reports it, the crew insists that no one is missing. Determined to uncover the truth, she puts her own life at risk.

Other cast members include David Ajala, Art Malik, Daniel Ings, Christopher Rygh, Paul Kaye, and Pippa Bennett-Warner.
Simon Stone directs the film, working with screenwriters Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. The production wrapped in November 2024, after filming in Dorset, England.
Ruth Ware is set to release a sequel novel, The Woman in Suite 11, in summer 2025. If the Netflix film is a success, a movie sequel could follow.
