The OnePlus Open 2 is expected to debut in February 2025, potentially as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it could be the first foldable Android device with this chipset on the international market, giving it a six-month head start in the foldable smartphone space.

Leaks suggest the Open 2 will be thinner than its predecessor and feature a nearly 6,000mAh battery, triple Hasselblad cameras, and wireless charging.

The device is also tipped to sport titanium in its construction, a feature that could enhance its durability.

While the original OnePlus Open had titanium reinforcement in its spine, the Open 2 might take this a step further, possibly incorporating the premium material into its frame for added strength.

While there is no official confirmation, these upgrades could position the Open 2 as a top contender in the foldable smartphone market, offering both style and practical durability.
