Elmo Welcomes SZA, Chris Stapleton, and More in ‘Sesame Street’ 55th Season

The 55th season of Sesame Street is set to feature a star-studded lineup, including SZA, Chris Stapleton, Noah Kahan, Reneé Rapp, and Samara Joy.

This season will focus on emotional well-being, with new episodes dropping on January 16 on MAX, followed by releases every Thursday. The show will also air on PBS and PBS Kids in the fall.

Elmo is thrilled about the musical guests and the lessons they bring. From SZA teaching gratitude to Rapp’s acoustic song about feelings, the new season combines music with important life lessons.

Chris Stapleton even co-wrote a song with the show’s music director, while Samara Joy insisted on singing live for her jazz performance.

The season’s theme of connection shines through, with Elmo sharing his belief that music brings people together. Sesame Street continues to be a beloved educational program, having won over 200 Emmys and 11 Grammys.
