Apple TV+ has announced that its popular sci-fi series Silo will return for a third and fourth season, giving the show a proper conclusion.

Based on Hugh Howey’s dystopian novels, Silo follows humanity’s last survivors living in a 144-level underground bunker 500 years into the future.

Currently in its second season, the series stars Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, Common, and Steve Zahn, among others. It was created by Graham Yost, known for Band of Brothers and Justified.

Showrunner Graham Yost expressed excitement about finishing the story, saying, “We can’t wait to give fans a satisfying conclusion to the mysteries within the silos.”

Matt Cherniss, Apple TV+’s head of programming, praised the series for its addictive and character-driven storytelling.

The final seasons will wrap up Juliette Nichols’ journey and the mysteries of the silos, bringing Howey’s trilogy to life.
