On December 24, Young Thug addressed the situation on X (formerly Twitter), apologizing to Mariah for the drama.

He wrote:
“Sorry to my baby for all this bullsht on the internet. I love u baby and f**k em all we know what’s up with us!”*

In a follow-up post, he added, “AySayTwin.. I love yo game more than life mommy.”

On Christmas Day, Thug shared another update, noting Mariah’s reaction to his holiday greeting: “She so mad, I said merry Christmas and she said thank u.”

Mariah’s Response
Despite the initial tension, the couple was later seen celebrating Christmas together at a ski lodge in Big Bear, California, suggesting Mariah has accepted Thug’s apology.

The Leaked Call
The controversy began on December 23, when a jail call from 2022 surfaced, featuring Thug speaking with model Leena Sayed, who expressed her feelings for him during the call.

Thug responded to the leak, clarifying that the conversation was about unrelated matters and dismissing the notion of any romantic involvement.

Leena Sayed also addressed the situation, stating on Instagram, “That video was before I met my [baby daddy]. I would never talk to Thug or any other man.”

Young Thug’s apology and the couple’s holiday outing seem to have brought closure to the incident.
