Google TV Launches Advisory Program for User Input on Platform Improvements

Google is looking to gather valuable user feedback to improve the Google TV platform through its new initiative, the Google TV Advisory Community.

With over 270 million users worldwide, Google is inviting owners of Google TV devices to join an exclusive online group where they can actively contribute to shaping the future of the service.

Participants in the community will engage in monthly activities, including surveys and “fun research activities,” with the chance to beta test upcoming Google TV features.

Additionally, members will be entered into a monthly draw to win one of five $50 gift cards.

To join, users need to own a Google TV device, but a public sign-up form is available.

However, keep in mind that joining may require participants to share personal data, as Google collects audio, video, and photographs during interactions, which may include your voice and physical features.

So, if privacy is a concern, consider the terms before signing up.
