Realme’s next flagship smartphone, the GT 8 Pro, might set new battery benchmarks. Reports suggest the phone could pack a massive 8,000mAh battery, surpassing the GT 7 Pro’s 6,500mAh Titan Battery.
The GT 7 Pro already offers fast 120W charging, powering its battery to 100% in just 37 minutes.
For the GT 8 Pro, Realme is testing larger batteries ranging from 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh. However, these upgrades could come with slower charging speeds.
If the GT 8 Pro gets a 7,000mAh battery, it may charge fully in 42 minutes with 120W SuperVOOC technology.
The rumored 7,500mAh battery might take 55 minutes with 100W charging. The largest option, 8,000mAh, could drop to 80W charging, requiring 70 minutes for a full charge.
While the larger battery sizes enhance capacity, they might reduce the phone’s charging speed and still lack wireless charging, a feature available in rival phones like the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.
Realme has yet to confirm these details, but the GT 8 Pro is shaping up to be a strong contender in the flagship smartphone market.
