Xiaomi’s Redmi K80, launched in China on November 27, is now available globally through Giztop.

The base model of this affordable flagship starts at $429, slightly higher than its Chinese price of CNY 2,499 (approximately $345).

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Redmi K80 offers high-end performance at a competitive price. However, importing the device comes with challenges, including Chinese firmware and limited network band compatibility.

While HyperOS 2.0 supports English and includes Google Mobile Services, features like Android Auto may not work out of the box.

Additionally, warranty claims require sending the phone back to China per Giztop’s policy. Despite these drawbacks, the Redmi K80 remains one of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones on the market.

Xiaomi may release the Redmi K80 globally as the Poco F7 Pro, which could address these concerns for official buyers. For now, tech enthusiasts can explore this flagship through import.
