Google Maps on Android Auto has received an update that makes it easier to report police activity.
Previously, users had to swipe through a menu to report incidents, with police activity buried deeper in the list.
Now, the police reporting option is at the top of the menu, just below crash and traffic slowdown reports.
Additionally, Google renamed the “Speed traps” option to the broader term “Police” to reflect the change.
This update, which appears to be a server-side rollout, doesnโt require any new app updates and applies to both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay users.
