Garmin is rolling out system software version 26.30 to its Descent Mk2 series, including the Mk2, Mk2S, and Mk2i dive computers.

The update introduces a new heart rate chart on the post-dive summary page, replacing the previous time-in-zones bar chart.

Other key updates include:

  • Default End Dive Delay set to five minutes (requires settings reset).
  • Fixes for PO2 alerts in the Plan Dive app.
  • Mk2i-specific improvements like better SubWave messaging and enhanced stability.

The update has already reached over 50% of users and can be installed via Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect app.

The Descent Mk2 is currently available on Amazon for $1,059.99.
