HMD has launched its Fusion smartphone in India, featuring unique interchangeable covers called Smart Outfits.
These include the Casual Outfit, Flashy Outfit, and Gaming Outfit, each adding distinctive functionality to the device.
The Flashy Outfit features a foldable LED ring light with 16 million color options for vibrant selfies, while the Gaming Outfit doubles as a joystick for immersive gameplay.
HMD has also partnered with Digital Turbine and Aptiode to enhance the gaming experience by offering a dedicated game store for joystick-supported games.
The HMD Fusion packs a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Camera features include a 108MP main lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 50MP front camera. It ships with Android 14 and includes two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
Priced at INR 17,999 ($215/€205), the Fusion comes in black and includes the three Smart Outfits as complimentary accessories. A special launch price of INR 15,999 ($190/€180) is available via Amazon.in from November 29.
