The popular Star Wars: Visions anthology series will continue its innovative storytelling in 2025, featuring nine new animated shorts from diverse anime studios.
Announced at the 2024 Disney APAC Content Showcase, the third volume builds on the series’ successful approach of reimagining the Star Wars universe through unique cultural perspectives.
Following its 2021 debut with Japanese studios and the 2023 global expansion, the upcoming volume will include both returning and new contributors.
Veteran studios like Kamikaze Douga, Kinema Citrus Co., Production I.G, and TRIGGER will be joined by new participants including ANIMA, David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q, and WIT Studio.
The series continues to push creative boundaries, promising a range of narrative styles from action-packed sequences to more introspective storytelling.
Each short will offer a distinctive interpretation of the Star Wars mythology, maintaining the anthology’s reputation for innovative and culturally diverse content.
