Apple Expands Screen Sharing Options for Mac and Apple TV Users

Apple is introducing new AirPlay features in its upcoming macOS Sequoia 15.2 update. The changes give Mac users more control over what they share with their Apple TV.

New Features:

  • Three sharing options:
    • Single window or app
    • Entire screen
    • Extended display (Mac + monitor)
  • Clear descriptions for each sharing option
  • Enhanced privacy controls

Additionally, tvOS 18.2 will bring its own improvements:

  • Support for 21:9 aspect ratio
  • Automatic subtitles when muted
  • Enhanced dialogue features

Both updates are expected to launch in December, alongside new Apple Intelligence features including ChatGPT integration with Siri and AI image generation tools.
