Milwaukee’s Summerfest, known as “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” will take place over three weekends in 2024: June 20-22, June 27-29, and July 4-6.

The festival features a wide array of musical performances, local cuisine, and unique experiences along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Ticket Options and Pricing

Summerfest offers several ticketing options to accommodate different preferences:

  • General Admission:
    • Single Day Ticket: Starting at $28.
    • 3-Day UScellular Pass: Available for those wishing to attend multiple days.
    • 9-Day UScellular Power Pass: For the ultimate festival experience across all nine days.
  • Special Admission Tickets:
    • Child Ticket: $6 for children aged 3-10 (children under 2 are free).
    • Senior Ticket: $20 for seniors aged 62 and over.
  • American Family Insurance Amphitheater Tickets: Separate tickets are required for shows at this venue. These tickets include same-day access to the festival grounds.
  • BMO Pavilion Reserved Seating: This option provides reserved seating for headlining concerts, along with same-day admission to the festival.
  • Level Up Viewing Deck: Guests can enjoy a more exclusive experience with amenities like a private bar and flat-screen TVs while watching performances. This ticket also includes two beverages and same-day admission to the festival.

Admission Promotions

Summerfest is known for its various promotions that allow attendees to enter the festival at reduced prices or even for free:

  • Throwback Thursday (June 27): Admission is only $5 from noon until 6 p.m., with select beverages offered at half price.
  • Show Your College Pride Day (June 28): Attendees wearing college apparel or showing valid high school IDs can enter for free between noon and 3 p.m..
  • Military and First Responder Appreciation Day (June 29): Free admission for military veterans, active-duty members, police, fire, and EMT workers with valid ID from noon until 6 p.m., along with up to four family members.
  • July 4th Celebration: All attendees receive free admission from noon until 6 p.m., courtesy of M&M’s, along with free candy samples inside the festival.
  • Seniorfest Day (July 5): Free entry for guests aged 60 and older from noon until 4 p.m..
  • Fan Appreciation Day (July 6): Free entry for all attendees arriving between noon and 3 p.m., plus a chance to win tickets for Summerfest 2025.

Purchasing Tickets

Tickets can be purchased in advance online through the Summerfest Store or at ticket booths during the festival. It is advisable to avoid purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources to prevent counterfeit issues.
