Agatha Harkness, the powerful witch first introduced in the hit Disney+ series WandaVision, is getting her own spinoff show on the streaming platform.

Titled “Agatha All Along”, the series is set to premiere on September 18, 2024, and will be part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Agatha All Along Release Date

“Agatha All Along” will debut on Disney+ on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with a two-episode premiere. The remaining seven episodes will then be released weekly, with the finale airing on November 6, 2024.

The series was initially expected to premiere in late 2023 but was delayed due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes. Marvel Studios and Disney have since re-evaluated their content output, with “Agatha All Along” now slated as one of the key Disney+ releases for Phase Five.

Agatha All Along Cast

Reprising her role from WandaVision is Kathryn Hahn as the titular Agatha Harkness. She will be joined by:

Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff is not expected to appear in the series.

Agatha All Along Plot

After breaking free from her containment in Westview, New Jersey at the end of WandaVision, Agatha Harkness finds herself powerless. She must team up with some unlikely allies to regain her former magical abilities.

Beyond these broad details, the specific plot of “Agatha All Along” remains largely under wraps. However, the series is described as a “chaotic coven of witches” story, with the production team promising it will be “hilarious and deep”.

The show is also set to feature musical numbers, with composer Christophe Beck – who wrote the iconic “Agatha All Along” song for WandaVision – returning to provide the score.

“Agatha All Along” is expected to further explore the character’s backstory and her place within the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of Phase Five.
