On August 23, 2025, professional wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, was attacked during a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles.
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, hit Smith more than 20 times while he was unconscious. The attack left Smith with severe facial injuries and multiple lost teeth. He was hospitalized following the incident.
Popular YouTuber MrBeast offered his support on social media, saying he could help with hospital bills or assist Smith’s child. He wrote, “Dang man, this hurts to see. Especially because I read he was a veteran that used wrestling as an outlet to get over PTSD. Genuinely, if anyone connected to him knows of a way I can help please reach out.”
OnlyFans star Sophie Rain also pledged financial support for Smith’s medical expenses. Rain, known for her charitable donations including a $1 million contribution to MrBeast’s CleanWater initiative, said she wants to help with his recovery.
Smith, a U.S. Army veteran, began wrestling in 2017 to cope with PTSD. His wife, Contessa Patterson, started a GoFundMe campaign for his medical bills, which raised over $50,000 within hours.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the attack as felony battery. KnokX Pro Wrestling condemned Jackson’s actions, calling them “a selfish, irresponsible act of violence.” Jackson has not yet been arrested or charged.
