Yung Miami is defending herself on social media after being accused of missing the luxury of dating Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The rapper responded to criticism about her appearance at the recent BET Awards after a user on X (formerly Twitter) mocked her outfit, suggesting that she missed Diddy’s financial support.
“You can tell she missing that #Diddy money. Toes hanging off her shoes, wig giving beauty supply, dress giving 1999 prom,” the user wrote.
Yung Miami quickly fired back, writing: “Y’all get on this app and type anything. Here’s my IG @yungmiami305 if you wanna see how I’m living!!!!!” In another post, she added: “Y’all don’t like when I clap back so leave me alone. I’ll be trending for days once I finish laying y’all hoes!”
The social media exchange comes as Yung Miami’s name surfaced during Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial in New York City. Testimony from Diddy’s ex-girlfriend—identified in court as Jane Doe—mentioned how the rapper’s public relationship with Yung Miami affected her emotionally.
“I didn’t sign up to date a man that was in a public relationship,” Jane said on the witness stand, according to CNN. Jane claims she dated Diddy from 2021 to 2024.
Diddy is currently facing multiple serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Several high-profile witnesses have already testified, including singer Cassie, who described alleged abuse during her time with Diddy.
Other notable witnesses include former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard and rapper Kid Cudi.
As of now, Day 21 of Diddy’s trial is set to resume later than usual, with Jane Doe’s cross-examination expected to wrap up by Thursday.
