Kanye West’s first-ever concert in India has officially been postponed.
The rapper, now known as Ye, was set to perform in New Delhi on March 29. Organizers have now moved the show to May 23, 2026.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the event partners said the decision was due to “the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions.” They added that the safety of fans, the artist, and the production team is their top priority.
The concert will still take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. All tickets bought for the original date will remain valid for the new date. Fans do not need to rebook.
The announcement comes after days of rumors online. Some reports had claimed the show would go ahead as planned, but organizers have now confirmed the change.
Fans have shared mixed reactions on social media. Some are disappointed about the delay, while others are relieved the concert has not been canceled completely.
The show is expected to feature some of Ye’s biggest hits, including “Runaway,” “Stronger,” and “Gold Digger.” Despite the delay, excitement remains high for what will be a major moment for live music in India.
Ye’s India debut is now locked in for May 23, 2026.
