XReal, the company making augmented reality (AR) accessible for everyone, has unveiled its most advanced offering yet—the XReal One Series.
This includes the world’s first cinematic AR glasses, launched at CES 2025, the largest consumer tech event.
The XReal One glasses are designed to work with any device, making them a versatile alternative to Apple Vision Pro.
Unlike many big tech products that lock users into closed ecosystems, XReal’s glasses promise compatibility and openness, delivering an AR experience that’s truly for everyone.
The XReal One glasses feature a custom-designed X1 chip, offering a refresh rate of 120Hz and an industry-leading motion-to-photon latency of just 3 milliseconds.
This performance surpasses competitors like Apple Vision Pro (12 ms latency) and other AR devices (20 ms standard).
The glasses deliver 1080p Full HD visuals for each eye and boast a 57-degree field of view, providing a 63.6% larger display area than previous models.
Built with a magnesium alloy shell, the glasses are lightweight and optimized for long-term wear. The design reduces pressure on the nose bridge, and the displays are certified by TUV Rhineland for high visibility and eye comfort.
The XReal One pairs effortlessly with devices that support USB-C video-out, including Android phones, MacBooks, Windows PCs, and gaming systems like the SteamDeck.
XReal partnered with Bose to deliver high-quality audio, ensuring content sounds vibrant and lifelike. Bose fine-tuned the audio to match the form factor of the glasses, creating an immersive experience.
The glasses include a detachable 12 MP RGB camera called XReal Eye, which captures high-quality images and 1080p videos. Future updates will add AI features such as image recognition and voice command functionality.
The XReal One and Pro models are now available for pre-order at $499 and $599, respectively. With their innovative features and unmatched performance, the XReal One Series could set a new standard for augmented reality technology.
