Xiaomi has begun rolling out the December 2024 security update, focusing on system security and stability improvements.

The update is available for several Xiaomi devices, including the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Pad 6. The Xiaomi Pad 5, in India, is receiving the update with build version OS1.0.13.0.TKXINXM, while the Xiaomi Pad 6 in China gets version OS1.0.13.0.UMZCNXM.
The rollout is phased, with more devices expected to receive the update in the coming weeks. Users can manually check for updates by going to Settings > System Update.
For those who havenโt received the update, Xiaomi offers a workaround. By downloading the HyperOS Enhancer app from the Google Play Store, users can check for and download the latest update manually.
