Xiaomi has rolled out a major update for HyperOS 2.2, improving 22 core system applications across its device lineup. The update focuses on enhancing user experience, security, and system performance for millions of Xiaomi users worldwide.
One of the standout upgrades is the HyperOS Camera, which receives a large 172.5 MB update (version 6.0.002000.8). This brings new photography features and performance boosts aimed at raising mobile photography standards.
Visual customization apps like HyperOS Themes, Mi Wallpaper Carousel, HyperOS Wallpaper, and Always On Display also got significant improvements, offering users more ways to personalize their devices.
Security remains a priority with HyperOS Security updated to version 10.9.4-250619.0.1, adding stronger protection and system optimization tools. The Family Guard app, which helps with parental controls, also received enhancements.
Other system utilities such as HyperOS Launcher and Mi Settings have been refined to provide smoother navigation and easier device management.
Communication apps like Messaging and Contacts have been updated for better reliability and organization, while utility apps including HyperOS Screen Recorder, Scanner, and Mi Mover now offer improved productivity features and simpler device migration.
Users can download the updates from HyperOSUpdates.com. The MemeOS Enhancer app on Google Play helps manage these updates and access extra Xiaomi features. The update is available now for Universal and China regions, with a global rollout coming soon.
