The Xiaomi 16’s specifications have leaked through the popular Weibo insider Digital Chat Station, offering a glimpse into the upcoming flagship smartphone.
The device is expected to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, promising high-end performance.
On the camera front, Xiaomi 16 will reportedly pack three 50 MP rear cameras, including a main sensor measuring 1/1.3 inches, an ultrawide lens, and a telemacro camera. Interestingly, the telemacro lens is not explicitly described as a periscope, despite earlier rumors suggesting otherwise.
The phone will likely come with a large battery exceeding 6,500 mAh, ensuring long usage between charges. Its display is rumored to be a 6.3-inch flat OLED panel with slim bezels on all sides, maintaining a sleek and modern design.
Qualcomm is set to officially announce the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset by the end of September 2025.
Given this timing, Xiaomi might unveil the Xiaomi 16 shortly before or around that date. Fans can expect more details soon as the launch approaches.
