Xbox Game Pass Adds 2024’s Game of the Year, New Day-One Releases

Xbox Game Pass is closing out May 2025 with a major lineup of new games, including the critically acclaimed Metaphor: ReFantazio, which won multiple Game of the Year awards in 2024.

Microsoft confirmed a total of nine new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass between May 22 and June 3, offering something for everyone—whether you’re a console, PC, or cloud gamer.

Here’s what’s coming soon:

  • May 22:
Creatures of Ava (Xbox Series X|S)
    STALKER 2 (Xbox Series X|S)
Tales of Kenzera: Zau (Console, PC, Cloud – Day One)
  • May 27:
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • May 28:
To a T (Console, PC, Cloud – Day One)
(From Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi)
  • May 29:
    Metaphor: ReFantazio (Console, PC, Cloud)
Spray Paint Simulator (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • June 3:
    Crypt Custodian (Console, PC, Cloud)
    Symphonia (Console, PC, Cloud)

Metaphor: ReFantazio, developed by Atlus and Sega, is arguably the biggest name on the list. It brings award-winning storytelling and visuals to Game Pass, giving RPG fans another major title to dive into—especially those who already enjoyed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 earlier this year.

Meanwhile, To a T brings quirky charm and fresh gameplay from the mind behind Katamari Damacy, while STALKER 2 and The Division 2 offer intense shooter action for fans of post-apocalyptic and tactical experiences.

With the Xbox Games Showcase scheduled for June 8, next month could bring even more surprises. But for now, May is ending on a high note for Game Pass subscribers.
