Justin Baldoni has been dropped by WME following sexual harassment and retaliation claims filed by Blake Lively.
The agency made the decision on Saturday after Blake’s complaint was submitted to the California Civil Rights Department on Friday night.
Sources confirmed that WME, which also represents Blake, acted swiftly due to the seriousness of the allegations. WME has not issued a public comment on the matter.
The complaint accuses Baldoni of causing “severe emotional harm” to Blakeand her family. It includes claims of inappropriate comments, pressure to disclose personal beliefs, and actions described as a smear campaign against Blake. Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the accusations “shameful” and “categorically false.”
The filing states that during a January 2024 meeting, Baldoni allegedly made inappropriate remarks about Blake’s weight, discussed his personal life, and pressured her about religious beliefs.
Blake also claims that Baldoni and producer Jamey Heath engaged in other inappropriate behavior, including showing her a video of childbirth and entering her trailer unannounced while she was breastfeeding.
Blake further alleges that Baldoni retaliated after she objected to adding sex scenes beyond what was approved by Sony Pictures. The complaint includes emails and texts outlining plans to counter her objections if they became public.
In response, Freedman stated that the claims were “outrageous” and intended to harm Baldoni’s reputation. He also accused Blake’s team of planting false stories in the media.
A spokesperson for Blake referred to her statement to The New York Times, where she expressed hope that her legal action would expose harmful retaliatory tactics and protect others from similar experiences.
Baldoni directed and starred in It Ends with Us, released earlier this year. Sony Pictures has not commented on the allegations.
