Wicked

The Wicked film soundtrack debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 139,000 equivalent album units.

This marks the highest debut for a film adaptation of a stage musical in chart history.

The soundtrack includes 85,000 album sales, 52,000 SEA units (equaling 67.66 million streams), and 2,000 TEA units.

Its sales were boosted by multiple vinyl and CD variants, including signed editions by stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

This is the biggest debut for a stage-to-screen musical soundtrack since Dreamgirls in 2006 and the highest-charting film musical soundtrack since Les Misérables reached No. 1 in 2013.

Both achievements highlight a strong week in music, with Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler, The Creator, and Billie Eilish also holding top spots on the Billboard 200.
