The White House has strongly criticized the latest South Park episode, which portrayed President Donald Trump in a provocative and satirical storyline during the show’s Season 27 premiere.
The episode aired Wednesday night and included scenes showing Trump attempting to seduce Satan and a deepfake public service announcement (PSA) featuring a fully nude animated version of the former president. These depictions prompted an official statement from Trump’s administration.
White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Variety, “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end – for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offensive’ content, but suddenly they are praising the show. Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.”
Rogers added, “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention. President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
The episode centers on Trump suing those who criticize him, which leads the town of South Park to stage a protest. In a dramatic twist, Jesus Christ descends from the sky—not to support the protest, but to warn that it could lead to the show’s cancellation. The warning references a recent legal settlement mentioned in the episode.
One of the most talked-about scenes shows Trump in his bedroom trying to seduce Satan. When he removes his blanket, his animated genitalia is depicted as very small, prompting Satan to respond, “I can’t even see anything, it’s so small.”
In addition to the episode, South Park launched a website featuring the satirical deepfake PSA. In it, a digital Trump roams the desert as a narrator ironically praises him for his bravery and love for the country. The PSA ends with the line, “Trump. His penis is teeny-tiny, but his love for us is large.”
This episode comes shortly after South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a new five-year deal with Paramount. The agreement includes 50 new episodes and makes the full South Park catalog available on Paramount+ for the first time.
