Apple is preparing for a strong start to 2025 with several exciting product launches. Here’s a look at five products that are expected to arrive soon.
M4 MacBook Air
The M4 MacBook Air is set to receive a significant upgrade in early 2025. The new model will feature the M4 chip, offering improved performance and efficiency. Along with 16GB of RAM as standard, the MacBook Air will also come with a nano-texture display option and a 12MP Center Stage camera.
Battery life is expected to be better, thanks to the power efficiency of the M4 chip. The design will remain the same, with both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes available. Apple is expected to release this model in March, following the same release schedule as the M3 MacBook Air in 2024.
iPhone SE 4
The iPhone SE 4 is another eagerly awaited product, expected to launch in March 2025. This new iPhone will feature a design similar to the iPhone 14, with an OLED display and no Home Button. It will include Face ID, a notch, and the powerful A18 chip from the iPhone 16.
With 8GB of RAM and a 48MP main camera, the iPhone SE 4 will deliver excellent performance at a budget-friendly price, likely under $499. Additionally, it will be equipped with a USB-C port and Apple’s first-ever 5G modem, making it an attractive option for many users.
HomePad Smart Display
One of the most exciting products Apple is working on is the HomePad smart display. Expected to launch in early 2025, this device will focus on Siri, communication, and home control. It will offer a touch interface, but most of the operations will be voice-controlled through Apple’s new App Intents.
The HomePad will feature a customizable home screen with widgets and controls and will also have security features like video/audio intercom. It will include a FaceTime camera, speakers, and possibly wall-mounting options. The HomePad is expected to arrive in March, though there’s a chance it could be delayed.
iPad 11th Generation
Apple is also expected to release the iPad 11th generation in early 2025. The new iPad will feature a faster A-series chip, likely with 8GB of RAM and support for Apple Intelligence. It will also support the new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networking chip, offering better connectivity.
This update is expected to be a standard iterative upgrade for the iPad, which is known for being Apple’s most affordable tablet. The iPad 11 will likely be launched alongside iPadOS 18.3.
Wildcard Products: Apple Watch SE 3, M3 iPad Air, and More
While not confirmed, there are a few wildcard products that could also be released in early 2025. The Apple Watch SE 3 is expected to launch in March or April, possibly alongside the iPhone SE 4.
The M3 iPad Air could also be in the works, though it might not arrive until later in the year. Additionally, Apple may introduce more home products, expanding its lineup of smart home devices alongside the HomePad.
