“Twinned with Epstein Island” Sign Appears at Trump Golf Course Ahead of Scotland Visit

A sign reading “Twinned with Epstein Island” has appeared at one of Donald Trump’s golf courses in Scotland just before the US president’s scheduled visit. The message is a reference to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender whose private island became infamous.

The sign’s appearance comes amid heightened attention on Trump’s activities and legacy, especially as he prepares for his visit to Scotland starting on Friday.

Separately, Police Scotland is facing internal challenges over the security plans for Trump’s visit. The Scottish Police Federation (SPF), which represents rank-and-file officers, has accused Police Scotland of breaching workforce agreements.

The SPF says these agreements exist to protect officers and ensure minimum health and safety standards, concerns which have led to threats of legal action.

Trump’s visit follows a period of political controversies involving his administration and public figures. Issues ranging from civil rights debates to his public disputes with media personalities have kept Trump in the news. Additionally, the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to cause disruptions in US politics.

This visit to Scotland is highly anticipated, drawing public and media scrutiny, including protests and heightened security measures.
