Travis Scott has confirmed the release date for Jackboys 2, the highly anticipated sequel to his 2019 Cactus Jack compilation album. The new project will be released this Sunday, July 13, 2025.

The rapper shared the news via Instagram on Thursday night, unveiling a poster that described the album as “17 tracks full of trunk rattling classics in the making.” The album will be hosted by Southern rap legend Bun B.

In his post, Scott wrote: “JB2 OUT EVERY WHERE 7 13 / SPEAKERS AND SCREAMS AT MAX VOLUME,” building excitement among fans just days ahead of release.

Teasers and Guest Features

Travis Scott began teasing Jackboys 2 earlier this year with a short film by White Trash Tyler and filmmaker Harmony Korine, which featured an unreleased track. This week, he released “2000 Excursion,” a single featuring Don Toliver and Sheck Wes.

In a promotional stunt, Scott reportedly sent custom Lamborghinis branded with the Jackboys logo to several artists, including Waka Flocka Flame, 21 Savage, GloRilla, Tyla, Vybz Kartel, and Kodak Black—suggesting possible guest features on the new album.

Background

The original Jackboys project, released in 2019, showcased talent from Scott’s Cactus Jack Records label. The follow-up comes as Scott continues to solidify his place in hip-hop. Last year, he received the I Am Hip Hop Award at the BET Hip Hop Awards and recently headlined Coachella 2025.

With Jackboys 2, fans can expect a high-energy compilation featuring new collaborations, heavy production, and a return to the group-focused sound that helped define the Cactus Jack brand.
