"Moon Music" is Coldplay's 10th album set to be released on October 4, 2024. The album is produced by Max Martin and features the lead single "feelslikeimfallinginlove," which will be released on June 21. The album is a follow-up to their 2021 release "Music of the Spheres" and is expected to be their last proper record, with the band planning to stop making music in 2025.
The album will be released in a range of eco-friendly formats, including a world-first 140g EcoRecord LP made from recycled plastic bottles, which will reduce carbon emissions by 85% compared to standard vinyl production. The CD version will be made from 90% recycled polycarbonate, reducing emissions by 78%.
The album's artwork features a waning planet with a radiant corona, and the band has hinted that the album may be their last, with Chris Martin stating that the band will stop making music in 2025.
