Apple TV+ is set to premiere a new television adaptation of the beloved 1981 fantasy film Time Bandits on July 24, 2024.
The 10-episode series follows an eccentric crew of time-traveling thieves and their newest member, an 11-year-old history enthusiast named Kevin.
As the bandits leap through different eras and locations to steal treasures, they confront malevolent forces while Kevin witnesses pivotal historical moments like the construction of Stonehenge, the Trojan Horse incident, and encounters with dinosaurs.
The ensemble cast includes Lisa Kudrow as the bandit leader Penelope, Kal-El Tuck as Kevin, and Tadhg Murphy, Roger Jean Nsengiyumva, Rune Temte, Charlyne Yi, Rachel House, Kiera Thompson, and more.
The first two episodes of Time Bandits will premiere on July 24, 2024, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday through August 21.
