South Korean video game company Nexon has announced it will give free Nintendo Switch 2 consoles to all of its employees. This includes staff from Nexon Korea Corporation and Nexon Networks Corporation.
The gesture is meant to reward employees for their hard work and to encourage relaxation during their free time. The news was shared through an internal memo.
The memo said: “We decided to provide Nintendo Switch 2 to all employees in order to reward the hard work of our employees and encourage them to have fun during their leisure time.”
The Nintendo Switch 2 launched this week and is already in high demand. It features better graphics, faster performance, and upgraded versions of games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
However, due to limited stock, Nexon warned that employees may have to wait before receiving their consoles. “It is expected to take a considerable amount of time for the company to secure and distribute the entire quantity required,” the company said.
Despite the delay, the gift has been seen as a generous move by Nexon and shows appreciation for its workforce during a major tech launch.
